About

Sanjay is a technology leader with diverse and varied experience in Software from telecom to database internals. He has worked for multiple years in India, Europe and US.
He has worked in roles starting from a software programmer to a consultant to a manager and also a short stint as an entrepreneur.  He currently leads the MySQL database development group at Oracle India as the MySQL India Director.

His education includes a BS in Computers from Delhi University, Masters in Computers from Jawaharlal University and an Executive Management Program from IIM Bangalore.
His professional interests include databases and open source software. He is a firm believer that open source and the internet offer software engineers a flat world where they can compete and establish themselves as the best in the world.
